10 volume set MDCCCXCVIII [1898] Published by J.M. Dent, edited by R. Brimley Johnson with colour illustrations by C.L+H.M. Brock, cut pages gilded to top, hardback cloth covers illustrated in blue with gold writing. Front free end papers inscribed in 1903.

- volume I six colour plates foxing throughout otherwise sound copy

‘Pride and Prejudice’ complete in two volumes in the 1901 fourth edition
- volume I six colour plates handling marks to back cover - well read fairly sound some foxing mainly to front pages and slight split on front page binding.
- volume II six colour plates little bit of foxing throughout - handling marks to back cover.

- Volume I in the 1902 third edition, six colour plates
